Fort Loudoun Medical Center helps build second Habitat for Humanity Home in Loudon County
During the months of September, October and November, Fort Loudoun Medical Center put together a team of 12 hospital employees and their friends and families to help build a home for residents of Loudon County’s Habitat for Humanity Program. Volunteers from many of the hospital departments were on hand to help paint door frames and doors and help get them installed. Representatives from Surgery, Cardiopulmonary, Laboratory, Food Services, Marketing, Emergency Department, Pharmacy & Administration all gathered to help make a difference in the community we love, live and work in.
“This is our second year taking a group out to help with Habitat and we are so thrilled to be able to do so,” said Ashley Hankla, Marketing Manager for the hospital. “We are used to staying in one location serving the community, so it’s nice to get out and visit with folks and hear their stories. Anything we can do to help we are happy to do so!”
Fort Loudoun Medical Center is located at 550 Fort Loudoun Medical Center Drive in Lenoir City, TN. For more information call (865) 271-6000.
