Fort Loudoun Medical Center
Oncologists treat patients suffering from cancer. Fort Loudoun Medical Center has an inpatient oncology unit that works closely with our sister outpatient facility, Thompson Cancer Survival Center, with locations in downtown and west Knoxville. Together, we feature some of the most advanced care technologies in Tennessee.
Our Fort Loudoun Medical Center team takes a multidisciplinary approach to caring for cancer patients. We work hard to coordinate every service that benefits a patient, from chemotherapy to counseling. Teams of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, case managers and registered dietitians meet regularly to decide the best plan for each individual.
We are proud of our affiliation with The Thompson Center - the region's recognized leader in cancer treatment, detection and research. Fort Loudoun Medical Center shares the same vision of commitment to our community, and the determination to deliver the most advanced cancer care available with integrity, compassion and the patient at the center of everything we do.
