The Boys and Girls Club of Loudon County held their annual Leadership Hall of Fame induction ceremony on April 30, 2015 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City. The Hall of Fame seeks to recognize individuals who have demonstrated excellence and are clearly identified as outstanding in their fields. Their recognition is permanantly displayed at Calhoun’s on the River in Lenoir City. Among this year’s induction class was Fort Loudoun Medical Center’s President and Cheif Administrative Officer, Jeffrey Feike. Mr. Feike, who was presented with the Business Leader award for 2015.
Feike is a public healthcare advocate in the community. He is an active member of the Civitan Club, serves on the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce board and has been instrumental in the economic development of Loudon County. Feike has presented to The Committee of 100, to keep group members up to date on health care reform. He has given insight into ebola preparedness and current flu impacts in the Loudon County area. He has supported the development of the new pulmonary rehabilitation center. He is an ongoing supporter of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Loudon County, where he has presented for numerous years as the opening speaker. He has a well-established relationship with local emergency management services offices and has implemented thh county’s EMS Council. He serves as the regional EMS liason for Covenant Health.
