Fort Loudoun Primary Care Cuts Ribbon on New Practice

Physician Practice Offers Primary and Walk-In Medical Care in Beautiful, Convenient Location

Fort Loudoun Primary Care Ribbon CuttingFort Loudoun Primary Care, a Covenant Medical Group practice in Lenoir City, hosted a community open house and ribbon cutting event on June 27. The event celebrated the grand opening of the newly remodeled and expanded practice location and services. Attendees included Loudon County Chamber of Commerce members and business leaders; members of the community; Fort Loudoun Primary Care physicians, and staff; senior leadership of Covenant Medical Group and Fort Loudoun Medical Center; and Covenant Health executive leadership.

“We are very proud of this beautifully renovated practice,” said Luke Johnson, executive vice president of physician enterprise and ambulatory services at Covenant Health. “The clinic features 27 exam rooms along with a new lab area and spacious lobby, and now offers convenient walk-in care for illnesses and sports physicals. Our goal is to provide an excellent patient experience for those who come to Fort Loudoun Primary Care, and that experience includes quality medical care and comfortable amenities like the features you see here today.”

The new name of the clinic also reflects the relationship with nearby Fort Loudoun Medical Center.

“Our hospital is honored to be an integral part of this community, together with our dedicated employees and physicians,” said Jeffrey Feike, president and chief administrative officer of Fort Loudoun Medical Center. “We work closely with Fort Loudoun Primary Care to connect patients to our hospital when specialized care or diagnostic services are needed.”

Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce president Michael Bobo led the official ribbon cutting, after which event attendees toured the newly remodeled practice.

The medical staff for Fort Loudoun Primary Care includes Kelly Caldwell-Chor, MD; Avni Patel, MD; Troy Stovall, DO, and certified physician assistants Matthew Lavelle and Kelly Piper. The clinic is located at 423 Medical Park Drive, Suite 100, in Lenoir City and is open for primary care appointments and walk-in care Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
