Covenant Health announces the opening of Fort Loudoun Primary Care, a Covenant Medical Group practice in Lenoir City, Tennessee. Formerly known as Primary Care Associates, the new clinic will offer primary care and convenient walk-in services at its newly remodeled and expanded practice location.
The medical staff for Fort Loudoun Primary Care includes Kelly Caldwell-Chor, MD; Avni Patel, MD; Troy Stovall, DO, and certified physician assistants Matthew Lavelle and Kelly Piper. The medical providers will serve patients at a beautifully designed facility that features 27 exam rooms, a new lab area, a spacious lobby, and one convenient main entrance for both primary care and walk-in services.
“We are very pleased to announce our expanded services and our new look,” said Luke Johnson, Covenant Health executive vice president for physician enterprise/ambulatory services. “The remodeled clinic will enhance our ability to serve the medical needs of a growing population in Loudon County, and will provide patients with a comfortable experience when they visit Fort Loudoun Primary Care.”
In addition to primary care appointments for new and current adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients, Fort Loudoun Primary Care will offer convenient walk-in medical care for acute illnesses and injuries, including colds, flu, sinus infections and rashes. Sports physicals are also available on a walk-in basis with no appointment required.
“If a patient needs hospital care, the physicians at Fort Loudoun Primary Care can easily access the medical and emergency services offered at Fort Loudoun Medical Center and the additional specialty resources offered by Covenant Health,” said Jeffrey Feike, president and chief administrative officer of Fort Loudoun Medical Center. “This means that people in Loudon County and the surrounding area have a full range of medical services available to meet all their healthcare needs.”
