This week, Fort Loudoun Medical Center celebrated its most recent cohort of nurse residents to complete the Covenant Health’s Nurse Residency Program. This 12-month structured program educates and trains newly-graduated, registered nurses through seminars, case studies, small group discussion, precepted clinical practice, and evidence-based practice projects.
At the graduation, the group was welcomed and congratulated by Fort Loudoun Medical Center’s Chief Nursing Officer, Suzanne Miller, as well as Covenant Health’s Nurse Residency Program Coordinator, Sara Borges. The cohort then shared some of the best practices that they had learned during their residency, and enjoyed breakfast together.
Congratulations to the following 2019 nurse residency graduates:
Shianna Bright, RN
Amber Ditmore, RN
Ashley Harris, RN
Kaitlin Hurley, RN
Meghan Stapleton, RN
Thank you to all of Fort Loudoun Medical Center’s leaders who worked closely with these nurse residents in their departments and for their dedicated support to the program.
